Parents CornerAll the information needed for the parents
Scoil Mhuire Fatima has an active Parent´s Association which acts as a voice for the parent body. Members of the Parent´s Asspociation are actively involved in working with the principal, staff and the board of management to build effective partnership between the home and the school. Members are also involved in fundraising activities towards providing vital services and activities for the student body.
The Parent´s Association are a busy group. They work in all areas of the school, they help run the Credit Union in the school every Friday morning. They also organize events like cake sales, raffles, treasure hunts every year. When communion and graduation times comes a party is organized for each after the ceremony.
The Parent´s Association meet every month to discuss school issues and organize school events. It is a great way to get involved, meet other parent´s and understand all that goes on in the school. We would be delighted to see larger attendances at the monthly meetings, everybody is welcome. Membership is open to all parents in the school.
To learn more about the committe, or if you are interested in getting involved in the Parent´s Committe please contact the school office or the Home School Liason, Mick Dowling.
