6th class visited Collins Barracks today for their open day. The boys got a guided tour of the museum and the square and were treated to a concert by the army band. The bomb disposal team performed a demo for us with their robot! We saw Sliabh na mBan, the car in which Michael Collins was travelling in when he was shot. The class got to handle some weapons, see first aid demos and had a quick workout on the gym machines.
