On Wednesday September 27th the Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr Tony Fitzgerald, visited our school. He was accompanied by his wife Georgina and also by Mr Daniel Harvey, nephew of Jack Lynch. He created a great buzz around the school and his energy and enthusiasm is infectious. The boys were delighted with his messages of health, fitness, the age of the Lord Mayor’s chain and of course having homework off tonight. He is a proud past pupil of our school and it shows in the way he engaged with everybody. After his duties in the hall, all honored guests proceeded too our new Relaxation Room where Lord Mayor, Tony, performed the official opening ceremony. We are delighted with his visit and wish him every success for the remainder of his time in office.
