About Us
Preschool:
Bright Start is a play based preschool situated within the North Monastery Primary School. We promote happiness, creativity, and independence through free play and using a child led emergent curriculum. We focus on each child’s individual needs to build meaningful relationships to provide quality care.
Afterschool:
- Runs from 1.25 to 4.30 but collection times can vary based on each families individual needs.
- The infant children are collected directly from their classroom at 1.25 and from 1st class to 6th class are collected from the school gate at 2.25. All children are brought to the school gate at their chosen collection time.
- Children will be given time to complete their homework with our help, however we ask that all parents/guardians check each child’s homework every evening to ensure it is completed.
- Children will be given the opportunity to take part in activities such as sports, arts and crafts, baking etc. throughout the school year
- The cost is €6 per hour. Every family is entitled to apply for the National Childcare Scheme, this scheme is means tested and will reduce the cost for each child.
