This year 6th Class took part in the VEX Robotics programme run by CIT and Dell. The programme allowed the boys to design, build and program their very own robot. Under the guidance of Mr Cunningham and Mr O’Callaghan, we successfully made it to the national final where the boys put their newfound STEM skills to the test and competed with other schools from around Ireland. In addition to STEM the pupils developed other skills such as project management, presentation skills, teamwork and leadership. Well done to all involved!
